InStyle is a monthly women’s fashion magazine that was launched in 1994 by the Meredith Corporation in the United States and Pacific Magazines in Australia. Meredith Corporation is based in Des Moines Iowa and was founded in 1902. Meredith is currently the largest magazine company in the world after their buyout of Time Inc.
InStyle magazine had expanded to distribution in 16 countries including Germany, Brazil, Greece, South Korea, Spain, Russia, Turkey, South Africa, and Romania. Instyle China launched in 2017, and in 2018 the United Kingdom edition of the magazine shifted to digital production online and the Polish version was discontinued. InStyle magazine includes articles focused on beauty, fashion, home, entertaining, philanthropy, and celebrity lifestyles. By 2013 the magazine had surpassed 1 million US subscribers.
The magazine is available for retail purchase at a cover price of $5.99 per issue. Readers may also choose to subscribe to receive the magazine monthly by mail. Subscriptions are available in 1 or 2-year options. A 1-year, 12 issue subscription is available for $15.00. A 2-year, 24 issue, subscription option is available for $20.00. Both 1 and 2-year subscriptions will automatically renew at the end of the 12 or 24-month period at the then current rate for subscriptions, but there is no minimum commitment for subscriptions to InStyle magazine.
