eRenterPlan currently services over 20,000 apartment communities and rental properties across the United States. To sign up for the insurance, you will first be asked to enter your location. Once you have entered your location, you will receive a free quote of the best insurance rate that is offered to your area. After the quote is received, you can sign up for the insurance plan online and pay your first premium. Your apartment community’s leasing department will then be notified of your coverage. Your policy can be managed online via your computer and/or mobile device. Your coverage will include Personal Property Protection, which will replace everything that may be lost if an accident ever occurred. You can also add add-ons, which are pet damage coverage, jewelry protection, or water back up to the plan. There are also additional add-ons available. You can include up to five roommates on your plan as well. The plan will also include dog bite coverage with no breed restrictions and $100,000 liability limit. Coverage is available in all 50 United States. The plan is underwritten by multiple companies, including American Modern Insurance Group, Markel, and American National Property and Casualty Company.
