Whether you're a new Cal Fit member or a regular, here are a few friendly tips for gym etiquetteÃÂthey ask that you observe and follow them, and your contribution to the club environment will be greatly appreciated! Keep an eye on your surroundings. Because you are sharing a space with others, please be considerate of your fellow gym-goers as you complete your workout. Be courteous. Don't say or do anything that would make your grandmother frown. Treat the equipment as if you were going to use it again. Taking care of the equipment and properly storing what you use demonstrates respect for others. They are all working hard to keep the equipment in working order so that it's ready when you are. Let them all work together to keep the atmosphere at their clubs positive by following these general etiquette guidelines. There are some excellent apps available for tracking progress and recording workouts. Please take advantage of them! They only ask that you refrain from having loud, distracting phone conversations in their club so that others can enjoy their cardio high or yoga Zen. They have provided comfortable chairs in their lobby, as well as Hydromassage lounges in some of their clubs. These are the ideal places to sit while scrolling through your phone. What about the gym equipment? Not at all. Please keep the equipment in usable condition. If you're texting, scrolling, or talking instead of using the equipment, don't be surprised if a staff member asks you to move so that the equipment can be used by those who are actively working out.
When using your phone and/or filming/photography, be considerate of the members and staff around you. Because some of them were not planning on appearing in a video today, they requested that you exclude the other gym goers from your feature film. Film and photography are strictly prohibited in areas of their gym where privacy and safety are prioritized, such as locker rooms, restrooms, Childcare, and Kidz Klubs. Finally, they request that you keep your phone on mute while in class.
Their clubs are a shared space. Many people are using the equipment throughout the day. If everyone works together, they can avoid the spread of germs or allergens that might make them sick. Please clean the equipment after you use it. They have provided convenient sanitizing stations throughout their clubs. Make use of them to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria from one piece of equipment to another. Please keep the air fresh around youÃÂavoid heavy scents. Your signature perfume or cologne might not be enjoyed by your neighbor in spin class. Please refrain from spitting! Your mama probably wouldn't have let you do this, so let's keep her happy and they will all be happy. Please stay home if you are ill, as much as they would like to welcome you through their club doors. Coughing and sneezing in class or while weightlifting leaves a trail of germs that could infect your fellow club members. On sick days, opt for an at-home workout -Âtheir trainers are happy to make some suggestions.
